Episode 2: Sarah Bachelard
Welcome back to another episode of The Everyday Girl Podcast!! My GOODNESS thank you SO SO much for the love and feedback you’ve sent my way already! I really appreciate everyone who’s been so kind as to let me know their thoughts.
SO for the second episode I chat with Sarah Bachelard - the founder of Benedictus Church in Canberra, author, scholar and meditation retreat leader (I’ve been on one it was awesome). We talk about where to even begin with meditation and what the impact of meditation has on us as individuals and society more generally - specifically looking at how it can play a part in navigating social media. “For the time that you are meditating you are withdrawing your attention from your own self talk and letting a deeper silence nourish you… and to discover who you are not mediated through [social media] or the feedback of others.”
As always please let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy it - apologies in advance for the slightly echo-y sound I recorded this a couple of months ago when I was still in the even more beginner stages of recording…lol. Bear with x
